He signed for the second tier side in 2018 for €2M and was instrumental last season as they reached the Semi Final of the promotion playoffs but lost via penalties to Spezia.

They are however vying for automatic promotion this season as the top two of the lower league will secure a guaranteed spot in the Serie A. They sit on 39 points, five points behind Empoli, but they have the second best defence and have lost just thrice in 22 games, the leagues 2nd lowest.
