Super Eagles midfielder, Ramon Azeez is on the radar of Spanish second tier sides Zaragoza and Sabadell, according to the very reliable RAC1. ForestGist have also gathered that CD Tenerife and Cartagena are also monitoring the player’s situation.
The 28-year-old has been limited to the fringes of the Granada first team this season, making just 2 league appearances and not featuring in any of their last 14 league games dating back to October 2020.
The six-capped Nigerian International has plummeted down the pecking order of the Nasrids, having made 25 last season in the league alone.
The player whose contract expires next year is said to have piqued the interest of La Liga Smart Bank clubs Zaragoza, Sabadell, Cartagena and CD Tenerife
Zaragoza, Sabadell and Cartagena are tied on 20 points in the second division which ranks them 17th, 18th and 19th according to head-head placing them comfortably in a relegation dogfight.
Tenerife on the other hand sits just above the trio at the 16th position on 26 points. All four are said to be interested in a loan deal.
Ramon Azeez is reported as not pushing for an exit as he is not keen on dropping to a lower division, but he is not in the long-term plans of his coach.
The move is being held by Granada who await incoming transfers to fill the void that would be left the player who has made the bench in their last 7 league games.
