Jordan Attah Kadiri scored his first goal for Belgian second division side, Lommel United, almost three months after completing a transfer.
Kadiri moved from Swedish club, Östersunds FK after being involved in 4 goals in 11 games and was expected to spearhead Lommel’s push to the Jupiler league after they were acquired by City Football Group (owners of Manchester City). But the player struggled to either budge the net in his first eight games or assist any of his teammates.
It took till his ninth game when he opened the scoring in the 33rd minute to help Lommel cruise to a 3-1 win over Club Brugge reserves. Lommel are now third in the league as they chase automatic promotion to topflight football.
